Our passion for fishing was instilled in us at a very young age by our father.  We were both raised here in St. Marys, Georgia, and we have been watermen ever since catching our first redfish off of our family dock.

Fishing has become much more than a hobby to us.  Although we both work full-time our job allows us the freedom to be able to take off and share our love of fishing with the world.

Lo-Joe Charter Company was started to fulfill Captain Joseph Stover's lifelong dream of guiding fishing trips.  Initially, Joseph started the company for himself, but he named it in such a way that he could bring his brother, Logan Stover into the fold once he acquired his USCG 6-pack license.

The name Lo-Joe originated from the name of the our dad's boat when we were very young.  The name stuck, and our passion for fishing stuck also.
